Trend Scan

Trends anaylisys is an important part of technical analysis and is often used by traders.  Trends are measured and identified by trendlines. We developed a quantitative method to calculate the trend value based on regression and R-squred value, then normalize it, and finally rank them based on the value calculated over the stock universe. The trends are measured over certain period of time (e.g, short-term, intermediate-term, and long-term).  The use of combined short-term,intermediate-term and long-term is effective to identify the trending activity. The trend rank value ranges from 1 (worst downtrend) to 100 (best uptrend). The trend scan results can be filtered further by the values specified in the company fundamentals section. For example, you may only want to look at stocks with PE value < 5.0 and is Ressell 1000 components.
